    Technically, that's roughout- the flesh side of regular full grain leather; essentially, just inside out, not suede, which is a split grain leather, usually from a softer leather, like lamb or calf.  Roughout is a lot tougher and more stain resistant and durable.

    For practical purposes, they look very similar, though.:)

              @Megatron1505:

              The FH boots are made from Deer skin, and look amazing. Same as anything I guess, if you can afford it then it is worth the price.

              So is the IH/Aero western and it's similar price. Id rather get the shirt for that price. Seems like a shirt has much more deerskin, just sayin'….

                    I've had these for a couple of years now, they just keep getting more comfy. They are some vibergs that we're part of the jp street collection.

                                  The verdict?

                                  Well, I won't make any comments on durability etc, but the fit is good, a little tiny bit on the tight side with my ordinary thick wool socks, but a-ok with thinner socks. They are unlined, so a fair bit lighter than for instance my alden indys.

                                  The santalum rubber sole looks good and the rubber/leather heel feels good so far. They are a bit less black and more a dark/matte grey, but some black shoe polish will fix that right up i suspect.

                                  So far, I'm quite happy with how they turned out, will make a more thorough review later.

                                  Seize the day and don't you cry.

                                        I'll fix that later tonight! (moms and paps over for surprise visit, I have to make food 😛 ) It does look ok though!
