Iron Heart IH-634S - World Tour 2010 - 2013

A few pics from my short trip to Westgate-on-Sea, in Kent - family home since I was 11 yrs old. Setting off from Gosport.
Arrived in sunny Westgate two and a half hours later, nice cup of tea then a quick walk down to the beach
Jaz seemed pleased to see me again

Apologies for crap photos!
Drink before the “gig” at Westgate’s tiny real ale pub, which celebrated its first anniversary yesterday:
Just serves real ale and ciders (and pork pies!)
Quirky pub interior:

Tonight’s exciting venue – the Carlton Cinema built in 1910. Seats 300 and was completely full.
Very civilized, they have set up a bar inside at the front of the cinema, on the piano, complete with buxom (and very friendly) barmaid.
This is who we came to see. Was hilarious - we had a great time.

Apologies for lack of posts but the WT jeans have really done nothing more adventurous than visit the office every day for the past week (oh yes and a couple of exciting trips to the supermarket). We have a holiday weekend in the UK, everyone was hoping the weather would pick up but in Gosport it’s stayed grey, damp and cold. May is a wonderful month in the garden, but the weather has been so grim we’ve hardly ventured outside for the past few weeks. Quick look around today, peonies starting to flower
Pretty viburnum
Wisteria on pergola flowering for first time this year
Some colour in garden, now we just need some sunshine… ::)
-
So, I insisted we did something this weekend to take us away from our laptops for a couple of hours, and this is pretty much on our doorstep
Pic below is of the cosy parlour at the front of the house. Charles Dickens was born in the room above.
Didn’t take long to look round, the house is very small, kitchen/scullery in basement, two living rooms, two bedrooms, two attic rooms for servants (even “lower middle-class" families like Mum and Dad Dickens would have had 1 or 2 servants, because they could hire street urchins/orphans for a few pennies a week :o) Very interesting

Loved the updates with both that classic English garden and female touch, Mme B.!
So now the cat is out of the bag that I signed up for the tour myself. Kept that among a few friends and personal contacts so far.
I'm excited to see FOXY, nemesisnow and corporalclegg on the list as well, all previous leg hosts that I've been in touch with in one way or the other. It's a daunting thought to have to live up to their standards, but when the time comes, I'll try my very best. Since Foxy does appear here in Berlin on occasion, perhaps we could arrange a hand-over from him to me or me to him?

You should get in on this tour Davito. The jeans haven't been to Zurich yet as far as I can remember. Make it happen!

Would really love to mate, but since I am a waist 29/TTS30 and I am not sure what the current size this WT jeans is, I would probably not feel comfortable in them and could not give them enough love they deserve since I wear all my IH not over tagsize 30 and like it not to baggy around my skinny ass…
I would be much honoured to be part of this but I think sizewise I'll have to pass unfortunately...
-
Ach, they may be too big. Depends if you wanna roll with an anti-fit look for a month while you show us around town.
-
on a site note - looks like ur denim bag is getting a lot more evo than any of ur jawns ..kudos
LOL, yes the bag gets lots of rough treatment! I’m not so heavy on my jawnz… (note to self, must move more!)
I thought I was at end of WT stint so have washed them ready for the handover to EmCeeQ, I enjoyed wearing them, they are extremely comfy
Not sure I added much to the evo
but I feel very privileged to have unexpectedly taken part in the tour.
That said, nice to be back in my everyday Beatle Busters which were abandoned for 4 weeks

I see you emceeQ. Hope the WT's are making it to Curry…
