Essential Wardrobe Items

I think a leather is important, but not essential if you have a rugged, tough jacket of some other description. I have a vintage 70's, NYPD issue Schott Perfecto 602, which is in absolutely beautiful condition. These days it is only produced for the Japanese market, and retails at 93'000 Yen ( £760 or $1200), and the modern version is inferior to mine as all the hardware is repro, not original, it's an amazing jacket. I would (and do) choose my IHM-01 over it every day of the week.

I bought them from the old Bape store in Osaka 6 years ago, and I have beat the shit out of them more than any other sneakers I have ever owned, nothing that Nike or Adidas have ever shown me can touch them for pure resilience, they are simply great.

I bought them from the old Bape store in Osaka 6 years ago, and I have beat the shit out of them more than any other sneakers I have ever owned, nothing that Nike or Adidas have ever shown me can touch them for pure resilience, they are simply great.
What is an SS Vin?So are yours the pair with the huge tab on the side? As mine are not those but the ones without that feature from their first showing.

Mine are the release after the tabbed version, which I think were a Wtaps collab for the MOUT exhibition in 2005/6. I did have a pair of those, in the demi boot variety, but I sold them long ago. Mine are plain, simple black.
I used to SS many years ago, I just found that the Bapes were better consturcted. That is, however, speaking from my own personal experience, so not necessarily correct. Either way, they're a great looking shoe.

Same as mine then only i went for the white. Must have been 'a' or few possibly? bad apple(s) you got as Shelltoes are universally well known for their abilty to soak up punishment and you can't have that if your not well made.
