Very sleek those Diors. Price is outrageous, though, especially at retail. Ouch!
Check out the Eduard Meier sneakers from Munich. More exclusive than the Diors, all leather with some exotic selections, too, like water buffalo or shark. Don't know the price these days but should be in the E 200 range.

Are they not a SuiFu approved brand, or what ? I owned a pair about 10 years ago and absolutely loved them. I want to know your opinion on them. Do you prefer them to Dansko clogs ? Why don't people on this forum and on SuFu wear them ? I prefer them to Clarks because they add heel…and I'm 5'2". That's another reason I wear Danskos, BTW -- I'm a fucking shrimp. As I remember from 10 years ago -- Docs take about a month to get used to/break in...but afterward, they're very comfortable.

I think they'd suit you well. I like docs a lot but they're not for me. I don't like their soles
As for sufu, I don't follow their fashion "tendencies" all the time. The sufu fit just looks odd to me, so I listen to their opinions on brands but don't necessarily listen to all their opinions

Curious as to what the SuFu look is… I peruse the B/S section from time to time, but that's about it...
Interesting Seul – but I'm a SuFu lurker, not a poster -- although I did post some pics to "Raw For Women" to get girls to try Iron Heart (I posted IH 301S and Black Cyclist jean pics -- now I need to post IH 461 too !). But someone named "Salaami" saw my pics and said "Pleasure to meet you Shubha. It's so nice to meet someone who doesn't fit the SuFu prototype". I guess it's because I'm an older woman, and throw in "of colour" ? Not sure what Salaami meant but I took it as a compliment.
Beatle was certainly right about one thing -- my Clark Wallabees are ridiculously comfortable. I can walk a million miles in them, no problem. But they're not my faves because they make me look short as fuck. I feel like a koala bear in them. If I were ever to meet you in person Beats, Seul, DougNg, LandoCal -- trust me, I won't be wearing those Clarks -- they're not flattering overall (and of course, I want you to think I'm HOT). Shorter folks have to be more careful about what they wear -- for instance, those big-checked IH flannels (gray, red and blue), though beautiful, would make me look short and dumpy. Same goes for the puffy jackets.
DougNg, thanks for your thoughts. Once I pay some shit off, I'm gonna get those 3 pair of Docs I posted about.
