The hotel we're in looks a bit ropey, but apparently it's just been renovated and is now much better :-\
So long as it is clean, secure, and doesn't mind me stumbling around the corridors late at night after far too much beer, we're good to go

We will, about 100 paces from Times Square. Paramount to this decision was proximity to the massive Toys R Us, easily the deciding factor for Tommy :-\

Tickets are yet to be booked, but yes, we'll be there. Julie usually does the travel planning and her priority was arranging a trip to Las Vegas in June. Tentatively, we'll be in NYC Thursday the 18th through Monday the 22nd.
After all, how could I miss a chance to spend time with the lovely Madame Buttonfly?

Woo, hoo! This is getting so exciting! We fly into Boston on Saturday 13th October and will take a few days to see the city and explore MA a little. We’ll travel to NYC on Tuesday 16th or Wednesday 17th, and stay till evening of Monday 22nd flying home from JFK.
@Trons, wil be so exciting to see you there, but hope you’ll come to see us in Gosport before then, have a great weekend and give Beats a big hug/kiss from me

Mega, IMHO Times Square is nice to see for a day, but don't get caught up there, it's a horrible tourist trap.
Couldn't have said it better myself. And feel free to use and abuse my services as a tour guide since I plan on taking a bunch of PTO!
