Many thanks for the additional pictures and info, Seul. I really like them. I am German myself so I wonder where he gets them from. I'm in Berlin when I am in Germany. I will try to find a pair locally. Have had bad experiences when trying to buy shoes on a good luck system over the net. And I really loathe sending them back. What's his source in Germany?

          Best,

          Till

He isn't able to help you out, suz mate:

          re: German army sneakers

          Hi Eli.
Unfortunately, I don't know any shop who is carrying them. I got mine from ebay Germany. Your mate wil need a bit of luck though…I suppose he should check from time to time to get the right size.
Sorry, that's all I can do for you so far.

          Good luck !!!
          Simon

There is a used sneaker shop in the Karolinenviertel in Hamburg which sells them.  I forget the name of the place though.

Many thanks to both of you. I will do a google and ask around next time I'm in Berlin. With a little luck I should find some. They look great. I wonder if Adidas makes the for the Bundeswehr.

I bought some new Dior sneakers… Pics when they arrive. Copped at half the retail price, but it was still ~200 € though...  😞

Fuck I love Dior… I need to land me a job in Milano as a sales rep...  ::)

Shooba, you've known the addiction that may come with IH clothing.

I now introduce to you, SNEAKERSSS!!!!

                            Nike Dunk SB's specifically!

                            http://www.flightclubla.com/c.php?fc=la&c=sb

some sneakers are worth A LOT because of their limited quantity, age, and rareness.

Choose your favorite colorful pair (:

Simon626, not going to happen.  I don't give much of a fuck about shoes. Never have, never will. Beatle + LandoCal practically had to threaten to burn my house down if I didn't purchase a pair of boots, and I finally did to appease them [Clark Wallabees]. I'm simple-minded when it comes to footwear (thank God or otherwise, I'd go broke !) – all I ask is that they're comfortable enough to walk 15-miles a day in.

..and don't you just love those wallabees ? Your Ironhearts look so much tougher now…and you can easily walk 15 miles and more wearing them, right ?

You bet Beatle, 15-miles in those Wallabees is no problem…and I'm so excited that you're a girl ! You don't seem as "girly" as me though. And I don't mean that in a negative way...from what little I've seen of you, you look pretty hot !

lol….being the second child and having a Dad who was pretty much set on having a boy (he'd already picked out my name , Paul) I had to make up for the "disappointment" by doing all the manly stuff...playing soccer, working with him on projects like building and fixing stuff, changing car tires and whatnot....I'm not really gender conscious , so to say - I wear what I like - and mostly and all my life I found a pair of jeans and boots way more interesting and practical than a skirt and high heels. The good thing is - if there's a line at the ladies room at the airport - I can always sneak in next door and skip the long wait..LOL

Beatle, I don't do dresses/skirts either. God, that shit is awful ! But I'm mechanically deficient in every way. I can't even hang a wall picture. People who know me find me to be "a typical girl" and really rather feminine. But that's why I write software for a living – though I studied Electrical Engineering. It's not an unusual career choice really but I fumble when working with electronics and hardware, though I comprehend the technology and concepts. It's not really my thing (working with my hands), and I subscribe to "Roadside Assistance" on my cellphone plan because I couldn't change a tire if my life depended on it. And, no I'm not athletic in the least. So I run 6-miles at a pop and do yoga 6 days a week, but I'm not athletic. I didn't do shit in high school and in college. I move my ass rigorously to stay slender and feel great mentally and physically -- but I'm not talented enough to do sports. As I said in an earlier post -- the important thing is to wear clothes in such a way as to give YOU confidence. Your look is what's comfortable TO YOU, and you'll look attractive in whatever you wear -- if you are being authentically and genuinely YOU !

OK, here's my pathetic little shoe collection. These are the only shoes I own to my name, most of which you've seen already in photos. The 2nd row are my summer shoes. I don't do socks most of the time during the summer time. The 2nd row are shoes from a company called "SoftWalk" – which I LOVE. Again, remember my criteria -- I should be able to walk 15 miles in them, and with SoftWalk, I can and do ! My feet are quite narrow so most summer sandals don't work for me...but the SoftWalk narrows are perfect. I know that they'll probably make LandoCal throw up and head to ER though....
