I believe that IH related announcements belong in the News sub-forum.
Well, this one is a thread for announcements of a different sort – which don't really fit into the category of announcements/news made by Giles & Company. Someone can announce..."Hey I'm getting married in my 634SR tomorrow ! Wish me luck !" OR, "Hey I won the lottery ! I'm going to buy 50 pair of 634SR !", OR, "Hey, I'm getting divorced tomorrow...my ex is stealing all my IH !". Or "Hey...I'm going through a sex change operation. But I'm still going to rock Iron Heart !" . Stuff like that.

After some careful thought, I have noticed that while googling, you may find IH products which "appear to be" much cheaper elsewhere, i.e. eBay for instance. IH products are definitely getting to be a bit more mainstream now, though you'll probably never find them at Nordstroms. However, the service and customer attention which Giles and Kiya (Self Edge staff) provide are irreplaceable – and the peace of mind you get when doing biz with these two gentlemen allows you to focus on more important things -- like living life. That's my honest opinion. Every now and then when I think of the $$ I'm spending with Giles and Kiya, I must remind myself of a lesson I've painfully learned many, many times in life -- "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch". Put another way, "If something seems too good to be true, there's always a catch".

honestly - we had temp around -9 F - not even the IH denim is keeping my legs warm…long johns ...I was thinking about wearing a pair of oversized cargo shorts on top to keep my legs from freezing..but I actually think the cold is preserving my jeans ! LOL

I went to venice beach today and i fell down while i was longboarding on my loaded dervish. The sand made my urethane wheels slide out on the concrete and i ate shit sick with it. I now have a 3"x4" patch of skin missing from the spot right below your elbow. Thankfully no harm came to my IH's. Just a bit of dust that was brushed off immediately haha. I wonder how many more falls will my IH's take before ripping?
Oh yea i was wondering today whether it was possible to send jeans back to the Self Edge store for repairs on rips and tears and the like. I'd be willing to pay a fee as long as i get the peace of mind that no matter how much my IH's go through, they can be saved.
