I think they need to be softened to avoid an excessive consumption in some abrasion points.
I noticed a little shrinkage, but then, after a very few days, they stretched again.
Ultimately, after this first washing, they look and feel better.

IMHO.Ok I am noticing at the points of my creases they are already white from whatever lil abrasion there is. I love the way ur pair is turning out. From the pics they almost look like the way OD's fade.
