i'm not sure of what the difference between made and crafted is but shortest and best is "Made and Crafted in Japan".

      Agreed.

I think you should look at "all made in Japan crafted" in the same light as "it acquires because of the cotton 100% and true goodness is understood" … it's better when it makes little sense 🙂 ...

I as well. But the bottom text should read "All made and crafted in Japan" or "All made & crafted in Japan" not "All made in Japan crafted"…

Absolutely not.  Why on earth would I want to de-Harakify something unless it made no sense at all.  That is surely part of the charm….

I guess if you view "Made in Japan" as a sort of universal stamp of approval in regards to a high level of craft, then it kind of makes sense.
And the Engrish on this stuff is definitely one of its quirky little traits that appeals to me…

It's difficult to take something serious when I see a misspelled word in logos or the like. Especially, when your entire focus is suppose to be attention to details. I misspell words all the time and, obviously, have horrible grammar, but I'm not a designer.

You might as well put,"Atenshion 2 deatales" on the tag as well…

                  It's an easy fix.  :-\

I don't disagree, but with the label, there is no misspelling.  With the banner, when I pointed it out to Ayumi, she would have carried out Hari Kari on the spot had there been a sword handy…..

Well even with switched up words. Also, "Made & Crafted" just reminds me of the SUPER shitty Levi's line anyways. Nothing wrong with a simple "Made in Japan" tagline at the bottom.

I figured. Well, at least it feels Harakified. Kind of like when I try to read the google translated version of the IHJP site.

They don't.  Whenever I point out a mistake, they give me look of complete shock and amazement and I swear I can hear muttered "feck, feck, feck, fecks"…

Personally, after taking course in Japanese, the errors are probably due to mistranslation. Unlike English, which follows and subject to verb to action format, the Japanese follow a subject to action to verb.

For example: English: I went to the bank          I                bank to  went
Japanese: I bank to went.      (Watashi wa ginkoo e ikimashita)

Does that make sense? However, the banner was probably just an error.

Weee languages!  As someone who is trying to learn Arabic, I can say that butchering up English is perfectly okay by me.  It's quite a bit different than comparing German or Spanish to English

As far as sentence structure goes, Arabic is sort of the same way (i.e. not adj noun, but noun adj, and pronouns are often optional because they're also built into the verb).

I go to the big bank =
                                          أذهب إلى البنك الكبير
or ({i} go) (to) (the bank) (the big).. And I'm sure I fucked that up somehow.  Parentheses added to show the words
