Iron Heart IH-634S - World Tour 2010 - 2013

Will be great to see them (I've seen them before on FOXY) on Saturday. Literally can't wait! Look forward to the people -ahem- as well, lest anyone thinks I've no manners at all….
-
So, until Mme B works out out to use one of these new fangled Photographic devices, I am the operator…...
I can't even start to document how much IH gear is in this photo. Off to Dinner....
Our local….
We have all sorts of interesting naval type thingies in Gos Vegas. This is the Submarine Escape Training Facility.
[[color=blue]url=http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Submarine_escape_training_facility]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Submarine_escape_training_facility
It is basically a 100ft deep swimming pool where we train submariners from all over the world how to escape from a submarine. Or if you are me, Paula or Alex, you go for a swim 100 feet above ground level (you just need to know the guy who has the keys…....luckily we do).....
Gos Vegas has been trying to keep the French (sorry Ophelie) out for centuries. This is part of the old town walls…
Gozza does have some challenges, but this sort scene/environment makes up for a lt…
Destination, Hardys of Haslar (2010 party people., it was then known as Landers)….Now run by Sarah, other half of "round the world Ian".....
Aaron getting the drinks in for a thirsty crew…
Paula with one of our closest friends (who we did not know would be there tonight), Andrew McCall (father of Davina)…..
P goes for a pee, and leaves her mark….
And then waits for a taxi…
-
Daniel (little Bro as I affectionately call him) picks us up from the Hotel in his new wheels….
Scoping venues or a future gig we came across these.
From the Sublime…
To the simply fekkin ridiculous…
Do note however, it is the fabled 601S Deluxe edition….
At lunch (Japanese, of course). Me, Bro, Olli and Mme B…
Bro does a little bit of maintenance to the filler cap - easy, two twigs and a fag end and it stays shut…
The WT meet Honey…Actually, this was a crucial meeting, Honey's owner owns a bar, he told us that there is a Vodka launch at his bar tomorrow night. That's tomorrow sorted and Saturday AM written off...

So, as I have the unexpected honour of joining the world tour, I thought it was about time I posted – especially as we also have the pleasure of being in the wonderful city of Berlin.
I dumped the boys for a few hours and did some walking. First stop, an amazing place, the “Field of Stelae” holocaust memorial:
-
World Tour jawnz at the base of the Brandenberg Gate:
And a stroll down Unter den Linden:
One for Beatle:
-
Old and new Berlin side by side:
-
It’s like the first day of summer, the streets and parks are full of locals and tourists enjoying the sunshine:
Pleasure boats outside the DDR Museum:
On a bridge overlooking the River Spree:
-
Yep, I’m walking in the right direction:
I reach Torstrasse, home to DC4:
Meet the boys in a bar across the road from DC4, and quench my thirst with German cola:
