The Evolution of Iron Heart

Thanks everyone.
Unbelievably for a (new) 6 year old, Tom is very proud of his "Haraki Jeans", as he calls them. When he eats he insists on keeping them covered, the grass and dirt stains are literally from the last two days worth of birthday parties, playing football etc..

As these have just come out of the wash, I've taken some photos.
These are IH-106 "Tom Boys" worn by my 6/7 year old son every day that has not been a school day since mid September last year. He wears them hard but also gets them filthy so they've been through the wash too many times to count! These are 27" waist and my Son was a 24" waist last Sept, so the braces (suspenders) where essential. He's now around 25.5 so we could probably get away with a belt, but he loves them!
The knees on these get plenty of wear as they should from a small boy!
Back in September he was nearly 2" shorter than today, he got some bad heal bite early on which need repair. I patched the outside because they where cuffed and hidden at the time, now the patches are exposed as we've unrolled the cuffs. I've also had issues with his shoes pulling off the overlocking, this seems to have become less of an issue as the cuffs have unrolled (or the shoes have changed?).
Give em' back Dad!
