I also ordered these in a size 31 (im a size 33 in the 666XHS), and i hope the size chart from SE is exact. The size 31 is almost the same as the 666 xhs, and exactly the same in the thighs (11,7) - The reason that Giles measure 12 inch is, as described earlier in this thread, that SE thigh measure is 1 inch below crotch.
My 666xhs are now 60 days of almost constant wear, and the thighs have finally stretched enough for me to feel left foot

I soaked mine last night 20 mins warm to get rid of any shrink before sending them back to take some more length off, they shrank 0.5 inch in length, negligible in waist and thigh, stiffened up quite a bit and the denim feels a bit more coarse. I'll wash them once they get too dirty or stinky, who knows

So true, I washed the 34 I had to try to shrink them they came out coarse and stiff as a board, I'm thinking when I get this other 32 pair in I'm gonna try not to wash for months. I'm in love with the denim though, I can't wait to see the fades, and the evolution of them over multiple years, they seem like they have the propensity to change immensely over time.

Why didn't the fit work for you? I'm worried yet again cause I ordered a 34 and the waist was massively to big, now I ordered 32 but worried about thighs
good luck. i wish i couldve sized down 2 (the waist on the 32 is way too big), but i would not be able to fit any smaller in the thigh. worn them about 5 times so far, buttons are still so stiff, but at least i can get them all in now

This is the exact problem I had except it was between a 32 and a 31.

They're pretty close to black right now, but they ARE blue, especially in direct sunlight. I sized these for my thigh measurement, so they are a tagged size 31. I usually wear a 33, which ends up stretching to about 35" in the waist. I wish I had measured the waist before wearing them, because they weren't as tight as I was dreading. In fact, they were pretty close to perfect, which makes me think the waist was at least 34.5" to begin with.

yep belt is an xl. i got a L on two occasions (big ups to jes & zee) but that size just did not work for me. with my hangover the buckle is uncomfortable up front. just one of the reasons i wear to the side.
best about the images is the guy throwing something at my package & then a little dog comes out my rear. only reason i have so many images up

to lasthole on the belt.2" off jaco? just ran back to your image & that is going to be a very tailored "nameness" kind of fit. great stuff. i am more Columbo than anything so i feel weird when my stuff is all neat & put together.
