ah, no I mean they could be painted as well, can do 2 colors with letter fill in, they would chip and age, TFH has been doing some painted metal buttons they're very nice.

Yeah I was going to say, they have definitely NOT been painted an are in fact Brass from what I can make out in translation. I would love to see them painted Black and with wear reveal the Brass. They really need to go on a pair of SuperBlack Coveralls….

Copper (See Statue of Liberty) certainly has more character to it than worn paint IMHO.
