I reckon so too. will see how the 634S fit when they arrive. I know I have huge thighs thanks to cycling and rugby. 😞

just wondering, do you guys soak your 634S when you first got it? and if i got it hemmed with G, do i have to soak the hem to let the "new" stiches  "settle-in or bed-in"? sorry im kinda confused. some say don't soak to make use of the starch for creasing while others say soak to allow the denim to "settle-in or bed-in". cheers!

great! I shall wear em' later and thrash the shit outta this beauty. 🙂 somehow its not as stiff as the 666S despite being heavier. makes it less daunting to wear it. 🙂

I soaked mine before the first wear, just because that's what I do with all my jeans.  Didn't make a bit of difference.  I won't do that again, since it's basically a waste of time.

Hey all. I'm looking to pull the trigger on what will be my first IH jeans. I'm wondering if the IH634S is the best starting point?

It's probably the first IH pair most have started with including me so I would say yes if you're looking a straight regular fit

It's the best pair of jeans I have ever owned, only surpassed by my 634-raw

Hi CLJ! What do you mean by best (e.g. fit, denim character, fading properties)? Also, what is your preference: a straight fit, slim fight, tight fit? Have you ever heard of the overdying process? I'm sure that you will find your pair and wish you good luck.

The IH-634S is the patriarch of all Ironheart jeans. It's a classic fit, with a denim unlike most on the market. It's also the most versatile, suitable for work and play

There's a reason why it's the flagship model

What I was trying to say was is this model going to give me the best impression of the brand experience and further my interest in it. Straight fit works best for me and I've done the measurements as per the guide here. I'm a big build and the tapered/slim type cuts look a bit silly on me. I've done a bit of reading today and I think I'm starting to get a handle on things. Never hurts to seek wisdom and you guys confirm my thoughts. Waiting on the tax return now!
