How do they get lost in production? Honest question. Is it something to do with the cutting?

[Giles]

Usually not the cutting, that is fairly easy.  When we start to push the edges of what is technically possible, we lose stuff in the sewing processes.  Often we have to work out completely new ways of making stuff that do not become apparent in the sampling process.  The sampling is typically done by the most experienced personnel, when we move into production the "lesser mortals" struggle…..

Example.  We had to make 370 pairs of 25oz jeans for VMC to get 300 good pairs.  If fecking up 18% of the time, when trying the near impossible is human error, then yes you could call it human error…

How limited is limited for the larger sizes?

I'd love to see a limited west sizing shirt in the future (only L, XL, XXL & XXXL). Seems like there are a lot of XXL and XXXL guys on here.

MikeC, it always seems that way, then I order, say 5, of a particular shirt in XXXL and I get left with 1 or 2 for months.  If I was regularly moving a dozen of each it would be a lot easier…..

I'm at work and not worth the money because I sit here pressing F5 all the time to make sure I get the ivory shirt in a large.
If the shirts were shipped last tuesday, when will they arrive. And will a marching band acompany the packages to Gosport?

Copenhagen.  No need to press F5.  They are on their wau, but they take longer than 2 days.  I would expect them towards the end of next week….

They should have been, but there was a slight delay, but they do take between 4 and 10 days to get here, depends on how long they get held up in Customs…..
