Samurai Jeans
-
I have used e2nd.net in the past. They're usually well stocked, and if you use an online translator the ordering process is pretty painless.
-
I have a pair of S5000VX size 28x36 with red tag, arcs and all tags for sale in the Supermarket. Letting them go for cheap. $300 obo.

Fit pics of my new (to me) Samurai Jins, 0110xj, apologies for the toilet shots, but I'm at work so my choice of location is limited. I love this denim, the texture and weave is like nothing else I've ever seen. This pair I might go for contrast fades, rather than vintage, I just think it looks better with the Jin denim.

Lot 10
-
i'm with rock(it) the texture is amazing & i'm sure the photos aren't doing them any real justice
-
Thanks guys, I'll throw up some macros of the denim tomorrow when I get some decent light, it really is like nothing else.
-
Nice pics of those Sams Mega, hope that nasty migraine is gone…
-
Thanks BH, I'm finally feeling a bit more like my old self…..although I think my wife preferred me when I was quieter
-
So glad you're feeling better, looking forward to some more pics of those Sams…Nice fit on you.

Lot 10
Same here, got higher lot no. coming for a second pair (sizing down one and keeping the current pair for my old days).
Lot no. 10 is the nicest denim I have seen so far.Nice fit BTW!
-
yeah, denim from Samurai really changes from Lot to Lot. At least that's what I encountered on my pairs. Older pairs are often more irregular
-
wow the new Samurai is pink!!! Not my cup a tea, but you gotta applaud the daring move!

You are quite late to the party
We talked about it some posts ago. But I agree with you that the color on those pics isn't the best (or maybe it's really a shitty color). Let's wait how BiG captures the color.
Well after comparing the official picture from Samurai here:
with the ones from 2ND
I have to say, the ones from 2ND are really pink whereas the official ones look better.

Samurai S5000vx 21oz, 6 months, 1 soak, 3 washes.

If the texture was like the old model I would have bought, but without loom chatter and a potentially pinkish color shade…
Rather considering a pair of S5000AI-OGSP.I'm totally with you on that one (except for buying a S5000AI-OGSP instead and I don't think you should do it too).
The 17oz had a more interesting texture. But from my observation, it is quite common along the brands, the heavier the denim the regular the texture. Might be a reason, that the looms are already under a lot of pressure with the heavy denim and then weaving in 'failures' would be too much for the loom.
