sad thing is i have boots that are 15 years old that came with red laces i guess so they can see your a$$ & save your life if you get buried in snow or something. now a few folks wear it (a few really should read a million zillion), over saturate the market place with it & now you get dudes that hate it even though i really don't think it looks bad.
i guess it's a conversation we will continue to have in general when things become "too popular"
got to take pictures of my yuks, i think i might have a slight problem

Ok. The gods have spoken. No more red laces.
I was wearing the jcrew Indys the other day on set and the hair stylist said I should put some red laces in them. That's when I knew it was over. Thanks for puttin the nail in the coffin.

Lone Wolf Mechanic's Boots.
Treated with some Obenaufs Oil, made them darker, which I'm happy about !

My USMC Boondockers when they were new and before I used them

I've been looking at those Hoggs Rannoch boots as well. From what I've heard they're made by Cheaney, but used to be made by Alfred Sargent.
