Hello, I'm quite interested in the hickory jeans and I have a couple of questions about them:

    Will they shrink? How much?

Are they 21oz too? What kind of fade can I expect?

Will size 38 be available one day or another?

Can I trust the ironheart.co.uk fit pics? I've seen a rather baggier fit on rakuten….

    Thanks in advance.

      Hi there Tanner.

      They won't shrink.  No they're not 21oz, they're about 16oz.

No 38's will be made I am afraid.

The fit pix on the site are the IHHQ guys wearing them.  Size up a size or 2 and they'll look a lot baggier, which is what a lot of japanes do with loggers.

      Here's another pic:

Thanks Giles! I do like the fit on ironheart.co.uk (IHHQ guys then), I don't like them too baggy, anyway I wouldn't be able to size up as I usually wear a 36! 16oz sounds good! I'm really tempted now!

So I know that a pair of jeans and a denim shirt/ jacket is called a "Canadian Tuxedo" but what would this combo be called? Cuz I want it!

He's even wearing a hickory here!!

LandoCal,  Be aware theat the material of the Loggers if different from IHSH-07.  The IHSH-07 material has a dark blue stripe, the Loggers black

                  Lando -

I'd say they look great other than the length, so I'd either get them hemmed or rock the cuff (I think the cuff looks great, personally).  Are you sagging or wearing them on your natural waist?

Thanks. Yeah I am definitely sagging a bit. As I refuse to have things hemmed, I will just cuff. I just threw a cuff on there quickly but would most likely make it a tad bigger.

So I am thinking I might soak these tonight as I am not very comfortable with the fit. I just don't want to regret it. I know what to do but am looking for some of your opinions. Thanks in advance for any and all ideas or thoughts!

Edit: Can we change the name of this thread to IH-802 Hickory Logger?

The fit looks good to me in that last blurry image. Now, I would definitely hem these. The cuff just doesn't cut it here. I really like cuffs on blue jeans but on this material it ruins the silhouette.

For photos, the trick is to press the trigger half way to get the autofocus to to acquire focus. Then press the button down all the way. Do not let go in between. Half-press 1, then half-press 2. Leave the finger on the button and the button depressed until half a second after you heard the shutter sound. Keep elbows close to the body or, if possible, brace against something. Always use both hands even on a small camera. In the moment you take the picture, don't breathe.

Many people get blurry pictures because nobody ever explains the half-press technique to them and they never read the fuckin' manual (RTFM).

Sorry for the OT but if it helps get pictures it was good for something.

                          Till

LandoCal, wear them low and cuffed…they'll look fine. I think these will go better with a sloppy hoody or a t-shirt.

Lando, I think they look fine on you.  A soak would make them tighter, which I don't think would improve the look considering they are supposed to be baggy.

In general, I think these pants look better on shorter or stockier people.  It seems that the vertical stripes don't combine well with a tall/skinny body.  Which means I will not be wearing these.

If you look at the Japanese guy - sometimes it works out to size up 1 or even 2 and wear with a belt…

Man simon626, you are all over the place. You need to sloow down and focus on one thing at a time or you are going to end up buying everything and then reselling it because you didn't think about it beforehand. Add an IH top next. I think if you could try to get your hands on something like the IHW-01 (Melton) or something similar in versatility.
As for the fit/ feel of these, they are lighter than you would think for a double-knee logger. They are definitely not like Khaki's but more like a lightweight jean. Soft!

That's why I was saying you should look into the Melton Wool Shirt. It can be so many things for so many different occasions. I think that it, along with a pair of IH-634S's (As Beats said) should be in everyone of our closets! G still has M and L left…
