Also, I'm wearing strike golds right now and had to reach down and feel around in this coffeeshop in front of my GF to see how many buttons they had. Got weird looks for sure. Can't say I ever noticed a difference or ever thought it an inconvenience.

This was the only reason I could of imagined there being a reason for difference in button amounts.

Four buttons on my IH, five on my Sams, never noticed until today. My feelings on the Sam vs IH debate, they're different. Variety is the spice of life.

Interestingly, I saw a lot of locally made jeans in Jakarta and I was asked my opinion on how to improve them.  My commonest comment on the slim/low rise models was to reduce the number of buttons from 5 to 4 - 5 in many cases, was just too crowded…..

Guess it makes sense that my Triple Works 1220s have only 3 buttons, since they have a low rise.
