Which Cell Phone do you own?
-
OK, someone brighter than me.
How do I:
a) transfer my saved numbers from the phone to the sim on my HTC desire
b) Get them on my PC
c) Import them into my Iphone 4Doh….
Dude, sync with Outlook would be an option, then re-sync with iPhone. You can ignore the SIM element in this context.
However, did you not have gmail sync with the Desire for the time you were using it?
You presumably have the old, larger SIM still in the Desire but now not active because you told your carrier to turn this off when you went over to the new, smaller Iphone SIM?
Dont do anything until clear course of action is planned - SIM only contacts are a sphincter twitchy zone. Syncing with something is the best course of investigation.
-
BTW: You can buy a cheap SIM back up device, something like this:

For the first time in absolutely years, as it is approaching my contract renewal time there is not one single phone on the market tempting me
Might stick with what I have, take the most expensive upgrade I can get for free, sell it, and buy more IH

Service question for all you US iPhone users. What carrier and or plan are you using/ wish you were using?
We have a total of five phones for three people in my house
I have Verizon/900mins/unlimited text/unlimited data (grandfathered) (heard there's currently a glitch in the system that's allowing people to sign up for unlimited data on Verizon)
Jody and Steven have a family plan with 1000? mins, unlimited text, unlimited data
And Jody and I have ATT for our work Blackberries
Verizon is very reliable but expensive
Sprint can be dodgy depending on location, though most of the time it works fine
ATT sucks at my house, is barely acceptable at work. I despise this stupid thing. Might have to do more with the phone than the carrier though
I had T-Mobile for a few years in NY, worked great, inexpensive, but it was dodgy outside of NY

Service question for all you US iPhone users. What carrier and or plan are you using/ wish you were using?
AT&T iPhone 4
I get great service. 4-5 bars almost everywhere. Also I get 1-2 bars in Maine at my family cabin and it's surrounded by mountains. No other phones get service. -
Yeah, I have to add something to my comment about ATT, I have a lot of friends on ATT and their service is pretty good. I suspect my problem is with this POS Blackberry
I hate this antiquated piece of crap, technology from the mid 90's in a phone released in 2011
Also, the data signal is a lot more reliable on my iPhone 4S than it ever was on my Droid. I stream music on my phone all day long without any clipping, but I would get clipping all the time on my Droid 1, 2 and X

That's why RIM is going out of business Doug
I have a friend who works in Waterloo Ontario where they are based. After that last service outage and privacy issue he said they had a lot of layoffs and it's not looking good. Also, iPhone, nuff said.

Looks like they're clinging onto hope as the ship is sinking with their new CEO. I think the Playbook is the next to last nail in the coffin, with BBX being delayed for a year the final one. Frickin ridiculous that they are resting on their laurels as the rest of the horses are taking off. They were the ones that made the smartphone smart, I'll credit them that
I wouldn't even have hard feelings towards them if the government didn't force this antiquated piece of crap on me. Fortunately, I think we're going to be piloting iPhones soon and I'll probably on the beta group for that

I have a work Blackberry. Much prefer my iPhone 4S, but at least the calls are free on the Blackberry.
-
well they have all races & bases covered, all about demographics & marketing f^ck if the product is any good
-
Well kids are getting phones at a younger and younger age and its perfect for them little fingers.
-
well they have all races & bases covered
haha not really, they got you covered in spades monday but by my count seems there are two somewhat ambiguous team bold members to cover three different races….
wait should I be talking about this? we cool around here right?
seriously though, this what you get when you get too many cooks in the kitchen, and crazy to imagine the man hours (and thus dollars) that certainly went into creating this
-
^^^^
we good.
i think they did that on purpose so the customer could relate to at least one of the furious four
& you are right about the billable man hours spent on that project. i mean how many surveys do you think were done to decide on the uniform colors & eye colors, how short should the skirts be . . . . . okay back to phones

I'm sure Blackberry's new marketing plan will save them…
I wish this was a joke
As a bald, ginger, half Irishman, I feel discriminated against by this marketing campaign.
