Went to this winestore for a li'l degustation… Guy maintains a system where you have your own card, buy credit for it, enter it, press some funky buttons et voila... You get a nice sip to try the wine... I figured since he was having a discount and had sent an e-mail saying it's a special day and so on, he'd let us try the wine for free... No Sirree Bob... Had to pay to try the wine... That's like Haraki making Giles pay for a sample... Well: I'll take my business elsewhere...

I have never, at any store, had to pay to sample wine. You don't get much, but enough to taste it. That's just crazy from the start.

Quite. Mind you - he didn't have any good wine either… Always open to try new stuff, but it'll be back to me usual store for now!..

I think I might have repaired that differently. Can't be sure though as I usually shoot from the hip when I take my sewing machine out….

We don't own a sewing machine IJ, so it was an old piece of material and a needle and thread job.

Mega, you really should get a sewing machine, even a used one. I herited mine from me granny. (Though it's a "modern" Singer from I think late 70ies). They come in handy in all sorts of stuff.
