I never knew Geo and rarely had the opportunity to speak with him. I received my bracelet today and became overwhelming sad. After reading many of his posts. He probably would have told me to suck up and stop being a nancy boy. I will wear this as a badge of courage, pride and honor. To our lost but, never forgotten "working class hero"

If he made the photo, I withdraw critisism.  I just thought putting a stars and stripes on someone who is so closely associated with Scotland (my country as well) was a bit disrespectfull,  my mistake..

• make a donation in geo's name to his charity of choice http://www.macmillan.org.uk/Home.aspx ,

• go like his posts to keep him in all forum members thoughts (frankly where he belongs)

• the best way to honor someone, imho is to not put them away but to keep them with you.  i think the good forum folks are just trying to do that.  i apologize if i read as condescending & normally i would have just sent you a pm, however, in this instance since it's regarding a fallen comrade i thought it better to air it out in the public forum. just want folks to understand where i/we are coming from on this.

point of my post wasn't a response or a comment.  it was an explanation from the person that put up the post (me)  it was also a way to give viable options to honor geo's memory. i think a lot of folks weighed in, but i wanted to tell it from my side to avoid any further speculation.
