Good. All you need to do is ask me if it fits, and hey presto, it;s yours

These flicks make me really wish that my dad and I had something to bond us like this! Makes me want to get him into bikes so I can follow up and do it with him!

Well, Till, you might imagine that I've heard that question a time or two. I typically tell people I'm 5'22". That's 6'10" if you aren't into math. Or 208 cm, or 2m 13cm, or about 2 inches taller that standard door height. Thanks for the comments on the fit–I agree. The fit was as described by Giles--you know I was interested in getting it right as my initial purchase was 10 pair. I have to say that as the months have gone past, I've become especially fond of the size and placement of the rear pockets on all the different models of Haraki jeans. Worth every penny, pfennig, or whatever you happen to have.
BTW, I've managed to slip a bit of height into the gene pool--my 14 year old daughter is now 5'10'--imagine that!Asp.

Cosmo,
I agree with tfar, great fit! It is wonderful to imagine that Haraki San's denim is being worn by people of all sizes all over the world. I would love to see some custom made denim for a Little Person. I can imagine the shape of the leg pattern would be interesting. It would also be great to see Haraki's patterns for yours in comparison. I love the dedication of buying 10 pairs. -
Thanks for the kind words on dedication, but it's Giles who's really the dedicated one. Among other favors, he sent me a "bait" pair of 38 waist 634Ss to try on, and when I saw the detail and felt the heavyweight denim, I knew I needed to act–kind of like setting a hook eh Giles? You never know when something you take for granted will disappear (especially at my height), so I thought I'd make worth everyone's time and effort. That's why I got 5 of the TWHR01s. I was pleased that Haraki was willing to just make 2 pair of the hickory loggers for me. The picture I'd like to see is someone at Ironheart Japan holding a pair off the ground! BTW, I agree with Giles' comments elsewhere about people seeing the hickory stripe loggers and wanting a pair. They are the most comfortable, yet tough (talk about oxymoronic) jeans I've found. Wish I'd had these to wear when I was logging in the Sierra Nevada (30 years ago, just after my longshoreman stint, and yes, I know the words to the "Lumberjack Song").
More will be revealed...J Cosmo Asp
