I had these in size 9D US because I got them for like $40 on ebay new. Should of got 9E US.
They were a tad tight in the width because I have a wider foot. Just sold them on eBay because the quality wasn't great with my pair. I wanted the roofers but I didn't want to pay retail and I think they run larger.

Alden Indys 8.5E (can wear an 8.5D but its tight or a 9D but its a tad long)
Dr. Marten Ormonds 10 US (they are tight on the top of my foot and too narrow, and I believe I bought because I saw you wearing them on here, can't say I love the fit)
Viberg 8.5E(if there are no wide options have to upsize a half)

So, there you go. That's my experience.

Yeah they're def not for everyone.

I for one think any sort of chukka/desert boot/Clarks are almost equivalent to Uggs and Crocs. So, everyone is different.

My roofers just arrived today..

They look great, how comfortable are they straight out of the box?

The insoles are pretty soft so they feel okay, as for the fit they're a bit tight around the middle of my feet, I think it's because my feet are a bit wide.. But overall feels pretty damn comfortable to me..

Good stuff, I've looked at them quite a few times, but heard some people claim they were uncomfortable.

Still waiting mine….will report comfyness as soon as I get them. sidenote, my moc-toes were supercomfy straight out of the box.
