thanks finn. will take a side picture later. i don't think i can size up on this. XL is usually my normal size, but a L in this felt surprisingly loose than expected even with both a shirt and t shirt.

so the shirt is XL and the vest L, right?
and if YOU feel comfortable with what you´re wearing, don´t change sizes

yup, the shirt is XL. the vest is L. feels comfortable wearing it. just need to break it in. rather stiff atm!

My view on this vest (and the IH-526SV), is that you need to size down if you intend to wear it over a Tee or just a shirt.  Haraki sized up on these so that they would work over leathers…..

KC, I like your fit. You could size down to a Large like G said if you are only wearing a T under it, but either way it looks good.

Finn, my opinion is that you would take a Large.

just tried mine on with a hoodie. fits fine. my chest size is 42- 43 inch. 18.5 inch shoulder. i would probably be able to size down to a M if i wanted, but i don't like my outerwear being too short in length.

25 inch length for the L is just nice for me.

i like the option of being able to button or unbutton the vest. i think buttoning up the vest, gives a different look and feel.

it's remind me of my military LBV that i used to wear. plus the two inner pockets are heaps useful.
