Honestly, these shoes fit like a dream. (And let's face it, look like one, too.) I couldn't get past the immediacy of obvious noticeable wear and malleable speed hooks, though.

^I already knew about issues with weak speed hooks…but they look soooo nice. And they fit as heaven indeed.

they recommended a 12 i wear a 12 in redwing…

just want to get them right as i've never bought a pair of alden's, i've tried on a few but none have called to me as these do.
