We have had serious problems with these......

I do not yet know whether Haraki will let me buy any of the black versions or whether he will restrict sales to in-Hachioji-store customers…....

Well if he does allow it, I would definitely do a pair of OD Cargos!

if folks read between the lines they will understand that G's post is actually the mark of an incredible operation. I mean to eat the cost of that many pairs being made because they weren't up to your crazy standards. the Boss could have just sold them as is (factory 2nds or whatever) but instead wrings his hands & says, "f^ck that, these aren't good enough to bear my name . . . i'll over dye them cause i can't stand the fabric & basically give them away at what they cost to make so i don't take a sh!t bath" all paraphrasing of course
great stuff & sorry for folks that were waiting for these. i do understand your pain

Just heard from Haraki. He has not yet seen the overdyed sample. If he feels it is good enough, he will let me take them. He will also give me inseam, I'm worried that the OD process will shorten them, perhaps too much. G
Sounds promising and I'm looking forward to see some first pics of these being overdied (if H.will show!)
