I actually noticed the same thing when I tried on a large 9527, which was much tighter than the large 527.  I thought it was the difference in the denim/dye.

Could be true for medium sizes as well. Girth and circumference were different between models and production batches. Pretty sure if overdyeing is the case that it has had it fair share here…

Some member can't make his mind up what size to get in this jacket. Bout the same hight and weight as me. This is my size Medium. Studio d'Artisan sweater and t-shirt underneath. I like it like this - nice and tight… Comfortable to move in though, due to the bi-swing feature... Hell I'm typing in it and sipping tea as we speak!.. It's too nice to take off...
