I wonder this might be the 301 variant G was talking about a while back, I think samples were being done around the time of the last jp trip, a slim taper cut with selvedge outseam for those that desire it

Earlier in the morning dawn today, The Denim Vault surprisingly announced their preparations to deliver a product of their collaboration jeans with brand names from Japan, Iron Heart. The results of collaboration products name prime shop that stood in Kemang would eventually offer a piece of denim pants with a modification of the popular model's Iron Heart, 301. In addition, products with the name of IH-555 TDV (not official) will also provide a form of top block of smaller, use better fabric selvedge, and the pieces are very slim. Devil's in 21 won't happen, but I am working on a new slim jean which will come n 21oz.  It will be slimmer than the 666, have a higher rear rise than the 666, a tiny bit more room in the hips and selvedge side seams.  Sample being made as I type…

If you are going to twist my arm then the best way I can describe it 301ish from the thigh down, but modified 666S top block.

There is a very large market in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand that want this cut.  I am here to serve.  Will I wear them?  No.  But that does not mean that slim bodied Asian guys (and girls) won't look good in them….

jaco, these sound up your slim alley (no hate at all).  sorry for sh!tting up this thread, but figured folks would start asking about the IH-555-TDV so of course I do some poking around & boom.

J-IV ask G in the morning, all speculation at this point.  knowing G one or two other vendors might carry, but it's speculation so I'll stop & let you sit up in bed thinking about it tonight

Oh no, no interest in the super slims here. I have 301bk, I wear them cause I love that denim and hope someday theyll be comfy but I don't think the cut suits me, should have sized up

I'm pretty sure Mr.G will stumble upon the thread and clarify for us. Knowing theirs another slim "tapered" fit got me waiting in anticipation. Crossing my fingers it'll be available closer to home as I might look into these as my second pair to wear during the summer. ( 301OD's in the heat=uncomfortable)

The 555-TDV is a jean I am doing with Vincent from The Denim Vault (hence TDV).  We are sampling at the moment and I will be taling the first sample to Indonesia withe me.  It is probable that I will carry them, I need to discuss with Vincent whether he wants other retailers to sell them…
