curious if anyone has these in a 38 the wears a 38 in the 634S's?

if so - care to enlighten me on how your fit is?

i've worn 40's in the 634 but sold them, i have a 40 in the 634SB that i would like to get rid of, but it fits better than the 40 in the 634S.

i think i tried on a pair of these @ SENY in a 40, but regardless of that i'd be interested in a 38.

anyhow - anyone have any insight?

    cheers,

    jesse

i'm a 36  in all my Iron Heart denim & here is my fit (not too sure about the 34 World Tours as it appears i'm picking up instead of putting down after the holiday :-X):

had to get in the shot of me looking at the giblets:

      better attempt:

      back:

high rise might bother the wine cellar depending on the way your weight is distributed Jesse, but i'm not really sure what you are asking. . . so i'll just wait to see what you have to say. if you are close enough to get to Self Edge just go down & try on the size you are asking about here.  just makes a little more sense to me.

        MM -

        Thanks, good idea.

I'm headed to LA for work tomorrow and I'm sure I'll have a moment during the 10 days to scoot over there and try on some busters.

Who the hell knows what I was really asking, what I really want is this denim in the 634 (SB cut) with the knife pocket.

Not that I'm demanding nor picky, just ask Giles. Hah.

        Jeez.

Sometimes even I wonder about myself.

        haha.

i've heard they all behave very different depending on the denim. . . so you might want to ensure you try on the right spec as the busters have one or two different denims used for the cut (21oz, 21 oz od, 18oz rough & slubby, & last but not least SBG)

good luck & keep us posted as we do love to hear from new joins  😠

And if you do go into Self Edge to try on, please buy from them if you can.  The sales people understandably hate it when a customer goes in, takes up their time and then buys elsewhere….

Went to Berlin for New Years and stopped by DC4 to meet Daniel.  Although I was pretty well covered for jeans right now, I added to the collection at the store and Daniel hemmed them for me while I waited.

I would think that you could get a 34 out to 36 with a little effort.  But are you 36 or tag size 36?  There could be a major difference….

Yeah, I guess I'm a tagged 36. I guess I'm actually about 36.5-37, so size 36 jeans fit me right away and only stretched a bit. I've worn jeans with waist 33 and it strecthed to around 37 now, but my concern in the thigh and that Iron Heart Jeans might not stretch as much as I usually experienced. Looking at the size chart in IH website I know I'll nail a 34, but SE size chart suggests otherwise (the thigh of 34 is 12.2 rather than 12.5). My thigh now is around 12.8

We measure differently, check out the different techniques on the relevant sites.  I have no 34 here to check, but we're usually pretty accurate…..

SE measures 1 inch below the crotch seam and Giles measures across the entire thigh at the crotch seam (you need to look at pics to understand).  That's why they are different.  Sounds like you are good to go.

I haven't even checked how IH measure  😞 I thought everybody do this the same way, shame on me…
