sad to hear this, was hoping this shirt would be the shirt equivalent of 634S.

two new blues you say, got to look through the Japan trip thread to get reminded of what might be coming down the pike.

We are releasing 2 new blue chambrays in this cut soon, if that helps alleviate the pain…...

I have no doubt they will be stellar!

Just began hand washing/ boil soaking my XL. Forgot to take pre measurements but the site has them so not to worry. I will document the shrinkage as soon as it dries.

IH UK Site Measurements for raw XL:

                Chest - 23.5"
                Shoulder - 19"
                Sleeve - 26"
                Length - 30"

My measurements after a 1 hour hot soak, machine hot wash, and hang dry:

                Chest - 21.75"
                Shoulder - 17.25
                Sleeve - 25.5"
                Length - 29.5"

Looks like I definitely got some needed shrinkage out of it!

glad it worked out though…now you don´t have to trade/sell and have one extinct item more in your closet ;)...

Exactly. It is still a bit loose but that is the nature of a workshirt. Glad all my annoying questions to G worked out. Apologies to everyone that had to deal with my mental slip ups on this one as well.

It's such a dope shirt. I'm glad you undertook this experiment, because I now know that if I were to cop a couple chambrays, I'll definitely size up to account for shrinkage.

Glad I could be of service. I have gotten much more open and less meticulous over the past few years. For the most part different treatments or materials tend to shrink or not shrink the same way. The more you worry, the more likely you will get results you don't like or want. Just my thoughts. Love this damn shirt thought. Sad to see it leave.

I just got the last of the Xls from dc4, it still has the backing buttons.  Does this mean its the raw shrinkable version?

Yes they are all raw (w/ Buttons on back). Oh and congrats on getting your hands on an XL!

Just out of curiosity, would it be possible to remove the IH tag on the left pocket and instead have it placed similarly to the IHSH-36 prior to shipment? It would be a service I'd pay extra for.

I mean, if it was darning of chainstitching I would understand your concern. However, it is just a simple single needle deal so it should be simple and cheap. Plus, you would save G a headache. Always a good thing.
