IH-634S-RAW - 21/23 ounce raw straight cut

Shipped day before yesterday and arrived in rural Northern California this morning!  Craziness...

They are awesome, and beastly, and beautiful, and scary and all that they were billed to be.

Only issue for me is that my tagged 35"s measured 35 raw (when really stretched).  Seriously, I tugged and stretched and could almost get them close to 36, but they aren't quite there.  I tried them on raw and they fit really snug...
My tagged 34 634 have stretched to 36 (and fit pretty loose, andmy 36" 801s and 9634s are a tad roomy) so I figured this would be perfect.

Since I had em' hemmed pretty short (hobbit legs) I'm just gonna cross my fingers and hope it works out.  I was barely able to wedge a 35' piece of wood into the waist band after some effort and went ahead and soaked them in luke warm water...

Power of positive thinking and some New Year's gym time might be just the answer...

Start off super stiff and hard, after a month of so, get pretty soft…

Tagged 35 measured 35 raw and are now at 34 soaked…:(
Not sure what to do.  Very little (to no) hope of getting them buttoned all the way.
Wasn't able to grab a decent pic, but here's the best I could do for now...

Sorry to hear that. I've also decided I am not going to mess with these. Better to leave them as is and hope someone wants to grab a brand new pair at a slight discount. Size 30, hemmed to 35 $390 shipped.

I agree, Simon had the same issue with his SR's took about a week to get teh top button done up, now they are fine….

My main concern is this,
I needed them to stretch to 36, so I figured since the 35 was 36 pre soak, that'd be perfect.  Since they came an inch smaller than tagged to begin with, I'm unfortunately not feelin too optimistic at the moment. (stretching up one size I expected, 2 not so much)...
But, don't want to sound like a little whiny baby, so I'll just see what I can do.

I finally got the 3rd button button done! One last final button, and I'm good to go. The rest of leg feels really good!

Waist 37"
FR 11.5"
BR 15.75"
Thigh 14"
Knee 10.25"

Post soak.
Waist 35.5"
FR 10.75"

I pretty like the fit now, but would be better if I get least an inch of stretch at the waist, and about 0.5" at the thigh.. I was hoping thati get more shrinkage at the hems too, but not really nothing me. Proper pics tmrw when there is better sun and light.

alright, i've just soaked my jeans and damn, i felt like steve irwin wrestling a crocodile. had a really hard time…turning my jeans right side up and buttoning up my first button.

manage to get one so far. will try again later! highly doubt its gonna be possible. my size 35 jeans shrunk to a 34...lots of stretching to do..!

Ive got to say I pity anyone who sized down on these.  I went true to size and after a hot soak I can get the bottom three buttons up but the top one has some distance to go.  My girlfriend laughed at me as I tried to turn them inside out for 15 minutes, repeatedly getting my hand stuck in the leg.  But its all worth it, this denim is absolutely amazing.  Cant wait until I can actually button them up.  And thank you Monday for sharing the deal for the Epaulet Crazy Horse boots, got them yesterday and couldnt be happier.
