what? Most 25 oz pairs show fades after few days of wear…Example: nicols pair with only weekend wear. Georgeels pair after 6 weeks. And many more...

@ronaldlsh: 0500xx fades also rather fast, but not as fast as the 19oz denim and the 17oz VX denim (in my eyes).

I also have to agree with Max: the heavier denims I've seen so far fade quickly, regardless of the brand

It's unfortunately that not many folks wear the 24oz Sams (besides a few pairs that are reposted often).

Shouldn't be too hard to find with a quick trip to Chinatown.  Houston has a really big Asian population, so all it takes for me is a 15 minute drive to the closest Chinese, Korean or Vietnamese grocery store.  I'll be curious to hear your impression of it.

As for the fading comparison, my 634s (21 oz denim) with a year of wear are less faded than my S5000s (17 oz denim) with 3 months wear.

I give all my jeans the same abuse and almost have no wear on the 666XHS'es after 5 weeks… I'll compare in two months with my Busters, though, as I wore them hard and almost exclusively for three months as well...
