Anyone had any experience of these stretching (or not) in the waist?

Yeah, been scoping these out. Fit pics would be great. Fit pics with some evo would be awesome.

You get a feel for the stubborn qualities of a cloth by giving Unity a go at it.  I can tell you hands down, this cord is way harder to chain stitch than the 25oz denim, it is that dense…...

So with the thickness, comes with the whole waist adjustment. But from how I'm thinking, the more you wear it, it's bound to stretch out. Just like with anything.

                But how about shrinkage post-wash/soak?

                  one washed, so shrinkage gone…...

Oops! Should have known, I was just on the product page. I'm just surprised this and the Cord jacket don't get much attention. Definitively thinking of getting one if TW doesn't come in time for the sunny season in the Bay.

By the way, the black look like a faded black/dark navy based on the online pictures.

It's a slightly faded black.  All of the cord stuff has been given a wash to get the shrinkage out and give it a slightly vintage look.

We are selling the jeans and the jacket steadily, guess the buyers just ain't posters…...

Really want these though. Just the fit is I'm worried about. As straight jeans never really looked on me.

Came in the mail today! I sized up one for these just like the product page recommended. I like how they fit and the fabric feels soft and strong at the same time.  I feel like I could hurt myself on the leather patch it is so thick. Super thick!
                          These pants are no joke.

If sizing one up on these as recommended–what have all you 34s done? Gone 36?
For comparison, my 634-s-b and 461s are perfect as 34s...

I rolled the dice on the 34s but they were just too small.    I thought that the 36s would be too big so I went for the Beatle Busters (tag size 34) which are snug, but stretching.  The question above from Giles about stretching the 6634s was prompted by my annoying questions to him.  I would add that the 6634s are beautiful in every respect and I highly recommend them.  I was just unlucky with the sizing.

I usually take a 33 in IH bottoms.  I wear a 34 in the cords, but could do a 35 (it they existed)…....

                                    35W would have been perfect.

Thanks, I'm starting to get the picture. I guess it remains to hear from a true 34, happy with his other 34s, who bought a 36. May be moot since 36s in beige are gone.

My friend got a 36 in beige for his dad but it was too tight, so I bought them. My waist is a 36.5 but since the cords are so dense, they are super tight. Since it's cotton, I'm expecting them to stretch. After about 15 wears, I'll post about stretching or non-stretching…......
