The vibram lug soles hurt a lot compared to the og crepe soles….  😞

They'll get better, once you get used to them.  Probably.;)  They look great, though.

i like the look (of Ron's resole) but can't do painful walking as i tend to be on my feet for long periods of time.

did you try maybe insoles to add some comfort to your step?

And maybe the pain is due to my flatfoot, and my weight.. And that is why I wear my crepe sole out so quickly..

You need arch support.  If there is that much weight on your heel (judging by how fast they wear, like mine), it forces the arch to be flattened out, causing discomfort.
Getting insoles with good arch support changed my life.

My RW is like a pair of boots that reflect my unhealthy feet, and walking style.

I seem to be suffering from this:
                  http://www.footminders.com/pronation-shoe-wear.html

But I read from some sites that people with this problem normally wear out more on the inner side of the heel… So which is which? I'm so confused..

Judging by that picture, I think the outside of the foot hits first. All of my shoes wear on the outside.

Part of that confusion could be terminology; pronation is movement of your foot- direction could be either way.  Over pronation (which people often just call pronation) is excessive movement to the outside of your foot.  Under pronation (which people sometimes call supination) is excessive movement to the inside of your foot.  I just made that even more confusing, didn't I?:)

Either way, a good insole will help stabilize your foot, support your arch and reduce discomfort and tiredness in your feet.  I'd also recommend a visit to a podiatrist to get a more in-depth analysis of your feet, walking pattern, general physical condition, etc.  You could also go try to find a good running specialty store (not a general athletic shoe store in the mall staffed by teenage goofballs).  They will often have you walk/run on a treadmill and film you from a couple of different angles so that they can do a gait analysis and make personalized recommendations based on your specific issues.

You gotta take care of your feet, buddy.  Foot problems have a way of cascading into leg and back pain and generally making your life miserable.

I've never seen any boots with a severe pronation like ronald's above though

I bought these Scholl's 3/4 insoles with arch support from the local mall today. Not sure if it is going to help, just going to give it a try, and see how things work.

Yep - just got the blue ones. Went with a 7.5 UK/ 41.5 €UR… So went TTS... I always add 0.5 size to put in a thick inlay sole, but probs won't with these...
