when i get a moment i'll try to put up a little history on those Woven's (promise i'll insert before the year is out).  i do agree they aren't for everyone, that makes them more appealing or maybe that should be appalling.  how many big companies do a shoe like this with roots in Native American heritage & such?  it may seem like many now, but when these debuted that number was like zip, zero.

Sneakers!.. Ok then!.. The only pair I still like, Diors!.. They held up pretty well, actually… Could use a cleaning but apart from that... Always loved the ass on these...

i think they are well crafted, quality leather, goodyear welted, commando sole…just what i need!

maybe i´ll change the laces to something better looking...

they look to be a top quality shoe. i don't think i would wear them, just something about plain toe shoes. . . but they do look very versatile & the sole allows you to wear them when ever/were ever

well i was thinking bout resoling my red wings with a commando sole back then, but since i´ve found these today, i don´t have to resole the red wings
and besides that i think i have found a nice pair of shoes (besides the boots) which i can rock "when ever/where ever"…so yeah...pretty happy

then a good purchase & your flicks probably make the shoes look better.  top notch photos always, shoes will get interesting depending on how the leather is dyed that blue.  almost like a pair of new raws.

*see me not "liking" them isn't a bad thing. it just means i wouldn't wear them.  guess that's why the guy that doesn't like chuck taylor's never said anything about it

Calling me out, huh, Monday?:)  Just saw them, so my lack of comment was unintentional.  I rather like them, like you say, they look well made and versatile.  I think they'd be cooler with a nice cap toe, but that's just me.
