What do you need t for?  What is the topology of Bologna like? How will you use it?

We want to see pics of Urbanwoodsmans awesome Leader right here. 🙂

Edit: Didn't realise I hadn't posted pics of this one here:

Got it for winter commuting in august but now since I've switched jobs and my commute is 800 meters it hasn't gotten much ride time. I'll try to hit the trails with it at some point, it rides really nice.

Gonna give the polo bike some action today though!

        AIAN HA-TO!

Ok fellas I really need your help. I've fallen in love with an Ibis Mojo SL and want to buy a complete bike from a shop in the US. Problem is they're not allowed to send a bike outside the US. They say I'll need a US address for them to deliver the bike to and have it sent on from there to me in France. How the hell do I go about this? Anyone know of a reliable proxy service in the US? Or a very trustworthy person? Thanks in advance for your help!!!

I have no experience with myus.com but it seems to be the most popular proxy service around. I would look into that as an option. Probably not very cheap to get a complete bike shipped to europe from the US though…

Thanks Jii. I saw their ad but don't know enough about them at this stage. To be honest it's looking less and less likely. The cost of having it sent to europe are verging on the ridiculous. Quotes seem to be around 800-900 dollars! Be almost as cheap to fly there and back and pick it up. Why are the costs so feckin high?

USPS/EMS likely to be much cheaper than UPS and it's reliable
I've proxied for a few folks here on the forum but not sure I want to get involved on such a large item
What's the size and weight of the box need all 3 dimensions and the insured value?

                    From a PM:

                    It's about 35-40 lbs (18kgs). Dimensions (in inches) are 48 x 11 x 35.

I figured if you were able to disassemble it, and ship it in pieces, cost would really go down as well…

I would catch a flight to the US and bring it back.  Likely to be the cheapest (least expensive) option

Yeah it looks that way G. Thanks for looking and replying y'all. May check flights but don't think it's realistic. If anyone knows of a cheap Ibis Mojo Sl or Yeti 575 both frame size M please send them my way! 🙂 Why is europe so goddam expensive for bikes?!

I have just sent you a PM.  I can maybe help you along with your quest for a cheaper Mojo SL or Yeti bike / frame.

Both are great frames, I have ridden both and I would struggle to choose one over the other ,at a push the Ibis might just get the vote.

I am lucky enough to be riding a Jeff Jones custom 29er, this is one of the last ones that Jeff made himself before farming the frame building out.  I think I posted some pictures earlier in this thread? I just love the bike but if I were to go back to a suspension frame it would probably be the Ibis getting my vote

Have a read of the PM and get back to me.

Built this one up about a month ago. Haven't gotten the chance to test it off road yet because of all the snow but it's been a blast on wintery roads and as I used to mountain bike a lot I really appreciate the comfort off the fatter tyres.
