any idea on colors?? thought i saw some in the F/W 2011 Iron Heart book but wasn't sure.

I'm having some discussions with Haraki at the moment re: the new hoodies. He has changed the cut from the old ones and we think that they may not suit the Western physique. We are trying to work out how we alter the cut, but it may well be that I decide not do bring these ones over to the west. I

I'm not sure exactly what aspects of the cut are the issue however I think as long as the have a thick ribbed waistband and long thick cuffs and loose around the body like the Buzz Rickson, which are of course modelled on 40's US Navy sweatshirts, I don't see the issue. What's the issue?

I have had more of the IHSW-01 returned because they did not fit as the customer wished than anything else ever. I think that the new hoodies are based on the same cut. If so I am not going to waste my money stocking them, because believe me I'll ship them and then they will get returned. I'll end up paying for the shipping, refunding the customer and sitting on stock that I cant shift….

If they are based on the new cut then you are of course right to reject the same mistake twice. But perhaps research why customers sent them back exactly, ie where was the fit out; shoulders, chest, length and send feedback to Nippon. Kaizen.

We do that with everything that is returned. It's an essential part of understanding what we get wrong…

Those measurements look much better (44 is still a bit over-the-top…), but the old one used to have a 46.5 inch chest?
Bench press sales must be out of this world in Japan…
