WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)
-
Have a sunny weekend everyone! -
I'm guessing you are not always on your own in the wilderness, as some one is taking the pictures right?
nope, I'm alone. Got a selftimer and a mouth to ask people for pics. That is also a hint for those that just take pics with their cellphones in dirt bathroom mirrors.

Indeed. Beach it is for me today, again. Have a great day, beats!

Got up early (well, for my doings) to go to the weekly fleemarket… Huge happening, especially when it's brilliant weather like it is today...
Market place's being revamped... Should be reàlly nice once it's done (end of the year):
Hey Giles: why don't ya sail on over

Thanks, I hope your day was as nice as mine.
And tonight: Scheisse Minelli live. I need to get that quiet mood out with some 80s-Skate-Thrashcore -

Built a dedicated bike for polo yesterday, don't want to trash my nice bikes while playing. Some parts still missing (freewheel, front wheel cover and IH stickers
) but it's rideable already. Tried (and succeeded) to keep it low budget by using all kinds of spare parts I had lying around.

HUGE PICTURE POST
so finally i
m able to post the pics from my trip up to the top of the Schilthorn. i was invited for a business meeting, so yeah…was a great day of "work" ;) the wellknown James Bond movie "On her majesty
s secret service" was once filmed there and there`s a great restaurant (rotating around so you have a full 360°view, while eating!)...but see yourself.so my day started of with a nice little breakfast...
…near the river Aare.
this was our car for today. pretty badass (350hp)
arrived at the Schilthorn Bahn pretty quick.
(here you also can see the route which leads to the top!)
we`ve skipped the first stop and went directly to the 2nd stop, cuz we were able to use the cable car which actually just is for materials and other things.
highest point: ~3000ft to the ground
arrived in Mürren
got a nice little tour through the history of cable cars and all that.
-
this is the weight that keeps the cable under preasure all the time.
the breaks
the controlling-room (left is the old way things went down and that little monitor on the right i how things get controlled today
)
on our way to the next station (Birg)
arrived at Birg
you can see Mürren downthere somewhere
on our way to the top
arrived…
with a bit of proviant
since we still had a bit of time left until the meeting started, we`ve enjoyed the view
(Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau are the 3 big once on the right)
wayw-that day
the restaurant on top…
time for the meeting…
everywhere 007 - even on the snack-plates
