i have a strict do not delete my b$ posts policy, so a lot of b$ stands
just saying a bigger person sometimes looks better in something a bit more tapered & countoured as opposed to something that is a straight cut.
a portly person looks horrible in clothing that is sized xxxxxl & hanging down to his/hers knees as opposed to a well tailored item of clothing.
heheheheheheha, horrible derailment on my part, but i hope it makes a bit more sense

just needed pictures since words don't seem to be my thing

figure i ruin enough of them

yeah i just read what i wrote & i do apologize to all that come across it.
i was feeling very articulate at that moment
Don't take it back.. I think it's the best thing I read all day

I would really love to see a waist/thigh/height measurement statistic of all members/purchasers. Not what they bought, because some people size up/down, but what their actual measurements are.
I'm curious to see if there's any common factor that brings everyone here, besides love for good quality denim
Like maybe people who have large thighs, and have trouble finding jeans that fit them, or something like that.

I bet the best selling 666 is 36 because it's the guys who are size 34 in the 634 cut sizing up to fit in the 666 cut lol.
that's exactly what I did with the 666 25oz

Some quick impressions:
They're about the same dimensions as the IH-801 (634-XHS in size 34, 801 in size 36) but because the fabric is so much thicker, it doesn't feel/look as loose as the 801. The rise is higher than the 634S but it's not bad! I didn't like the rise on the 1955S, but these I do like!
It took me three tries to get all four buttons through the holes, I had to keep stopping because my thumb was sore as hell
The fabric, possibly due to the starch?, feels like a solid sheet of something, almost like thick paper
Number of accidental painful testicle pinches thus far: 2 (I will edit this number throughout the day)
This was the first time that I had something hemmed by G himself, so I'm not sure if it's normal, but I loved that he put in the bits that he cut from the pants into the back pocket of them
Overall, very awesome jeans! And I'm glad that they're not exactly the same as the 634S just heavier, that way they don't overlap in function.
And finally some pics before I head off to work (pardon the squinting):

Well, the waist on the IH-801 is obviously bigger, sorry didn't mean to scare you with that :), but the other dimensions are similar:IH-801 Size 36

I got my blue bag today. I decided to take it slow, easy and try and remember everything.
So I took my time to unwrap the package: another blue bag inside the first, one, and then two blue bags inside the second one.
I stopped and tried to guess which one was the 634 and which one was the 666…
I wanted to open the 634 forst, but it was the 666 that emerged out of the first blue bag, and whoooooosh, what a smell!
Has anyone else noticed the smell of these pants? I dont know if indigo has a smell, but from now on, my brains will say indigo when I smell this very peculiar odor...
The feel of the fabric was impressive. I was very impressed and almost scared by these pants' aspect, the sheer fucking weight of them and the stiffness, the thickness... Boy, I thought, these are going to be hard to tame.
I removed my 634SR's and put on the 634X's and it changed my whole perspective on denim life. I thought I had heavy and thick pants with the 634SR's, well was I so ignorant of this new dimension. Because it IS a new dimension, in a way. The SR's feel like babies next to these beasts from an ancient civilization disappeared long ago. I'm saying this because today's technology cant make things like the 634X's, just like we cant make Cheops' pyramid like the ancient Egyptians... NOT possible anymore!
Anyway, I could continue ranting and raving on and on and on. I probably will in the coming days.
I have just one big interrogation: how are those going to age??? Are they going to become soft like the 634S?
Those who've had these pants for more than a few hours, do you have hints, hunches on the directions these MAMMOTHS pants are going to take?I'm so impressed. Arigato gosaimasu, Haraki and the IH Kru!
