I'm loving those … How did you size for these compared to your Trubalance size in Alden's?

I got size 8.5 on the Vibergs.  I usually wear 9D in Alden (Barrie, TruBalance).
Fit is comparable to the TruBalance.
Very comfortable in the Toe box but break in time surely needed in the heel area.
Already got blisters on my left heel just by wearing them in class last night.

But once the break in period is done, these boots definitely can take a beating.

Think i'm gonna pull the trigger as soon as I get the info needed. Can anyone advise me on sizing? I'm a UK9 in everything I own.

If they size similar to the Scout boot, I believe the general consensus is 1/2 smaller than the Alden Trubalance fit. Though, I find these to be particularly snug with respect to the width. And, regardless of how you size, a thick sock is recommended during the break-in period. (My heels were chewed up something awful the other day and I seriously contemplated taking them off and walking home barefoot, ha.)

Do not know about timing yet, Viberg move factories early in the New Year, that will screw all timings up.

Hey Finn,
Pricing was $595 (included US Shipping).  As far as sizing, I went half size down based on my Alden size.
I normally take 9D in TruBalance (Indys) and went 8.5 size for the Vibergs.
The fit is similar to TruBalance in the toe box but just a tad bit narrow in the heel area.
I'm slowly breaking in the shoe a few hours a day and now it's fitting good.

Be aware of the waiting time though, took me about 10-11 weeks from point of ordering to actual delivery receipt.
These boots are great quality and should provide a lifetime of solid and fun wear.
