White's Boots

I got my share of brown boots right now (danner mountain light, alden indy and 1000 mile boots), but I need a good pair of black boots too, and for now I've ordered a pair of dr. martens ormonds (I know, in a completely.. totally different league. So the long term plan (2012) is black chromexel, cap toe, double or triple sole, brass hardware version of the White's semi dress. Perfect for someone in the legal profession like me

Here's the specs from Baker's if anyone is curious.. It says brass hardware, but black wasn't an option so they told me to make a note at the end.

leather and construction really is looking great, but i dont like that typical whites sole.
somehow those boots always remind me of piggy feet when guys wearing these (nothing against`em seul, so stop packing )…
