He really deserve it that's for sure. Does he still make all the jeans him self?

Gauging by his web page, I can only assume so. That's really part of the charm; without it, I likely won't be so compelled to buy a pair.

That is part of the appeal….....

I know that's why I ask as someone over at Sufu hinted this is no longer the case since it went wholesale.

That probably is the definitive evidence that he does indeed do it all himself….....

But seriously, I guess at some point he will have to get people to help (if he does not already)....

Which wouldn't be a bad thing. If he gets help for his seasonal line then he can go back doing made to orders which to me was the real appeal

Alright, so I am committed to grabbing a pair of RS2s, but am a bit uncertain as to how to size these guys. I wear a 31 in the IHXB01 and the fit is spot-on. I messaged kiya with respect to the fit of the RS2s and he said that the 30 would likely be my best bet as the B01 is made smaller. However, with that in mind, there are a lot of similarities between the B01 and the SG2105 size 29–as per SEs measurements--and the latter proved to be too small, even with an intense break-in period. I'll have to hem these prior to having them shipped out, due to the intense nature of the inseam, and as such will not be able to return them if they don't fit.

Can anyone provide some insight? All input will be appreciated.

I understand the appeal of the Roys, I dig the one-man operation and crazy construction details and all that.
Not trying to hate at all.
But I gotta be honest I don't think I've ever seen a pair of worn-in Roys that wowed me. Granted I haven't gone looking extensively, and what I like is only my opinion, but that's my truth.
I'd be happy for someone to link to a well worn pair and change my mind.
I should say the World Tour pair looks quite good, and so perhaps the new jeans with the Nihon denim will wear like those, but the Cone denim just doesn't do it for me.
On the other hand, literally ever pair of worn 634sr I've ever seen look really good.

The cone denim fades really slow..

I throw these on every now and then and I really don't see much evo happening.. I'm sure if I wore them everyday It would be a different story..

But I can say this. These are the most comfortable jeans I own at the moment.

i have a few pairs of jeans made with cone denim and clint is right….they take a long time to fade.  my first gen lvc 47's took years but now theyre beaten all to hell.  the crotch blew out last week though....so theyre dead.

or down 1 if you want to stretch them..

The RN1 is nice, but I don't wear them too often.  I didn't get them hemmed, and they still have a 37.25" inseam after plenty of soaking.  My usual inseam is on 32 😉

So, I received my Ducks and RSIIs and I have to say, after dealing with solely IH for the last several months, these ducks seem paper-thin. I'm seriously concerned I am going to rip them apart one day if I happen to mindlessly undo the buttons too quickly. At least, that's my initial reaction. I'll pop back in with an update after they've been worn a couple of times.

Yeah, even I was surprised when I tried them on. I bought them fully expecting them to be on the loose side, given the waist measuring 32. But, the low rise makes up for it. Granted, they're a bit slim, but paired with an equally slim shirt, light-weight shirt and these will make for perfect summer pants.

Thanks for the kind words, Finn.

                                            16oz vs. 11.25oz? No doubt.
