Is the dark color in this shirt black or a deep indigo? I'm seeing green, brown, and either black or deep indigo but I can't tell for sure.

I really love the colors on this shirt. It is more subtle than one of the Crazy Check UHFs and has a really dark blue coloration in the dark areas that is much more apparent in outdoor sunlight!

Thanks! The new 12oz Herringbone Slubby is my favorite IH release of the season, I snagged the Western in Denver yesterday and the uniqueness of the texture is what makes it so cool. As soon as I picked it up, I knew it was a "must-have"
BTW...I am pretty sure you and I have been watch-buddies for a LONG time over on TRF...it is cool to see you in this neck of the woods! IH is even more addictive than the watch hobby:)

Well the enabling here is about the sane as over there lol … you may have just convinced me to add this one as well!
I think what has me confused about the Slubby is the color. In some photos it looks a bit “too muted” for my liking. In others, (like yours) the colors look more vibrant in a subtle way, if that makes sense.
Forgive me for having to ask, but what’s your user name over on the dark side. It’s great to meet you here!

I would say that the Herringbone Slubby is both muted and vibrant in a subtle way. I think what I see is that the stripes themselves are more muted but where they intersect they are vibrant and crisp. It is a really unique effect and I am loving it! In fact, I may or may not have the Work Shirt version arriving today:)

Well based on your description I may infact pull the trigger on the western. I have the red Ombré incoming as we speak, but this one I’d probably different enough to own both:)

One of the coolest things about collecting Iron Heart gear is all of the unique textures and fabric options. The slubby herringbone is so unique, even when compared to other UHFs, I think it is definitely one you may regret missing out on. It is the BLRO of UHFs;)
