      Please be aware people.  Despite me saying these were paraffin coated.  THEY ARE NOT.  My mistake - sorry.

            Water resistant.  It can be waterproofed as per Megatrons method.

                Any camping supply store or online retailer will stock a silicone based waterproofing spray for canvas tents (mine was by Jack Pyke), one quick spray and you're good for the winter. Costs around £5 -£7, does not stain or alter the material in any way, don't try it on nylon though.

                Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

                  Thanks Mega.. Not used to waterproof anything DIY way. Might give an outdoor store a check and ask them.

                                  wow. These jackets look so beautiful. Gladly all Ls are gone. Would have blown a huge hole in my financial situation if I would have gone for it…
