Just got my indigo cpo and it's damn near perfect. The fabric is very similar to the 18oz vintage (which I love) with a just a bit more slub. I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference if I didn't know it was a different denim. The measurements and fit are what I was hoping for and, for the size medium that I got (my usual IH size), appears to be very similar to the 292. I want to wear this as a jacket rather than a shirt and I can fit a UHF under it for a slightly tight but comfortable enough fit. With wear I know it will stretch enough to be perfect. Also was glad that the hem isn't too wide and clings to my body while not being tight at all. Seeing how nice the CPOs turned out I'm definitely thinking about grabbing a pair of the jeans.

RE: IHJ-149-IND - 10oz Selvedge Denim Blanket Lined Chore Jacket - Indigoposted in Jackets
Just received mine and it's awesome. Beautiful color, very cozy, and I love the symmetrical pockets and all of the extra copper pocket snaps. The hand warmers and interior pocket are additional features that really elevate this jacket. The interior pocket is roomy and can accommodate large phones if you didn't want to use the exterior pockets. I'm normally a medium in most things IH and sized down to a small in this one. That was the right choice for me as I can still wear a UHF underneath and have plenty of room.
One thing to note is that the lining runs through the arms and the material is a little scratchy so I would recommend avoiding wearing short sleeved tops under this. I doubt this will be an issue for most since it's a colder weather jacket sized for wearing over hoodies, flannels, sweaters, etc. underneath.

@SKT Nice! My sister got me one of these when she was in Japan in May. It's a fantastic shirt. My favorite chambray shirt for sure.
The Flat Head just released a western version of this shirt (FN-SCW-003).
I love this fabric and the construction so much I'm definitely grabbing the western as well.

I know the last thing most of us need is another indigo shirt, but I figured I'd post this anyways. I recently got the new UES Indigo Viyella shirt. It's the same pattern as the 14.5 ounce flannel except this one is a lightweight 8oz flannel like fabric. While it is listed as only one ounce lighter than the IH 9oz flannels, it feels much lighter and is way more flowy. It feels closer to the 5oz dobby fabric. Probably too warm for summer wear but great for spring and autumn. Another indigo lightweight option for the warmer months.
One thing to note is that for whatever reason the sleeves are longer than usual on this one when compared to other UES shirts. I had to roll back the cuffs on mine which I don't mind since the fabric is lightweight.

RE: IHSH-389-IND - 12oz Dobby Cloth CPO Shirt - Indigoposted in Shirting
Wore mine today and I love it. The fabric is different from other sashiko pieces I own. This feels sturdier and less flimsy even though the fabric weights are similar. Was breezy and cool out (mid 40s F) and it kept me comfortably warm with just a tee underneath. As others have stated, the body length is shorter than other IH CPOs. Still works for me but if you are thinking about buying this definitely check the measurements for length if that is a concern for you. There is greater potential for showing butt crack if you lean over and are wearing low/mid rise jeans. I like to layer this over an untucked tee, so if you like to do the same this works best with some shorter length tees (e.g Warehouse 4601) if you don't want the undershirt to stick out past the hem of the CPO.

Finally got to test this out in cold weather. Was hit with some snow last night and had to shovel this morning. 25 F outside and wore this over an UHF and was very warm. The relaxed fit allows for maximum mobility (and I sized down one size) even when layering. Really love this jacket.

The black buttons look great on this, but I'm really tempted to go pearl snaps.

RE: IHSH-409-IB - 19oz Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Indigo/Blackposted in Shirting
@worn2fade Sizing varies between each run so always check the measurements. The OD is different because the dyeing shrinks the denim a lot. I went one size larger in the 293-OD than my usual IH CPO size to compensate. So I wouldn't expect the same issues with the 409-IB since it is not overdyed.

@ShopatIronHeart I know y'all are busy, but if someone has a moment, could you please do a mock up of this shirt with the new dark mother of pearls snaps. I'm trying to decide between the regular MOP or dark MOP upgrade for this shirt. Thanks!

Dark mother of pearls snaps look great. Was gonna upgrade the 438 with MOP snaps but now I'm thinking of maybe going with Dark MOP instead.

Wore my 398 today, so I am totally ready for this one. Was worried at first that the measurements looked a little big for my usual IH size, but then remembered that these numbers were pretty close to those for the 398 (where I stuck with my regular IH size). Went back and checked the measurements for the 398 for my size and they are close to matching.

RE: Samurai Jeansposted in Other Brands and Shops
@northsouthdenimguy Ran across your post a couple weeks ago and saw the black baker pants are a limited release. Wanted these so grabbed a pair and love them. Definitely gonna grab the green as well. Love the drape and how they wear. They fit loose on me but don't look overly baggy. Really comfortable.

Vans recently released some denim sneakers for those that are interested. I picked up a pair of the Skate Sk8-Hi and really love them.
They also released a low top version (Skate Old School Shoe). Probably gonna grab a pair of these too.
