No hair is a reason to buy. Texas is a reason not to buy. See my dilemma, you bald Euro losers?
By the way, it's 50°F, (10°C) here today. One of the rare times it's cool enough to wear one of these, which is why I was looking.

With eyes welled with tears I report that Laura my wife has congestive heart failure. I normally would never discuss my personal life w/ people I do not know however, I want you all to be aware so this never happens to your loved ones. Laura around the beginning of November ended up with a terrible cold, congestion, horrible coughing, loss of voice etc… She went to the dr. And was treated with antibiotics and steroids. The symptoms subsided but never completely went away. Several more dr's visits and no cure for this horrible sinus infection. Friday night we took her to the hospital because her body was filling up with fluid. We thought a reaction to the steroids she was put on earlier in the week. The ER DR after reviewing her blood work noticed elevations in her liver enzymes which promoted more tests EKG and X-ray and CAT scan. The Dr came back with his assessment asking us if she had any any prior heart condition because he thought she may of had a heart attack. She was emitted into the hospital. My father tracked down the best cardiac team in the state and after an Echo cardio gram they have determined her heart was attacked by this virus which has put her into heart failure. We have long uphill struggle over the next 6 months. They do not know if her heart will ever come back. Please just beware sometimes a bad cold is not always what it seems to be the cardiologist said a normal internist would never think to look for this in such a young healthy person. Laura was a healthy 33 year old girl who may never be able to live a normal life because of this. I am not looking for anyone's sympathy just please be aware things aren't always what they seem.

d666, sorry to hear about this. She probably had water accumulated in her lungs (cough and sinus) because the body couldn't get rid of it fast enough. Sodium intake will need to be drastically reduced and there are medications for this condition. Keep your chin up and fight the battle with her.
