Lets make things simple. If you have a reputable local tailor/ denim doctor and you cant wait to wear it just send it to him.. But if you dont mind to wait while The Works fix the problem, send it to Haraki then. Its just a simple repair. And IMHO, this shirt should either have snap or a jacket style button hole.

Agreed!!! Snap-ons would have solved this! Because the shirt is so stiff, its better with snaps on like the 27!

It would not be a "work shirt" if it had snaps.

Didn't do a thing. Opened the parcel, check the beauty.. Then I saw it. now its sent to the boss. Can't wait to get my hands on her!

Just had my heart broken into pieces. Apparently the shirt I sent back to Haraki-san could not be repaired.

Mine did the same buttonhole thing on 5 of the 6 button holes on the front placket.  I don't wear it a lot, but it hasn't gotten any worse.  None of the other button holes have split.
