@volcano:
have emailed kiya. now awaiting for his reply. keeping me fingers crossed.
was so excited and already preparing to do a soak when i realised this. maybe i was damn lucky to spot it before soaking else,
when spotting such a mistake, you still should get your shirt replaced imo…no matter if new or soaked!...we pay enough for perfect quality garments, so we can also expect perfect customerservice, right?

haha true true. but i don't wanna make things difficult for anybody.
cos if its soaked, im worried kiya might have difficulties sorting the issue out. or maybe it doesn't make a difference. i don't know.
-
That is the issue with this shirt i would like to adress. The denim is a bit stiff to start with. I have 4 button hole look like that start from top. But i sent it to My local denim doctor and problem solved. In fact the repair make the button hole much more stronger. I'm sorry, no picture, i'm on the boat atm. Should be a small problem only.
-
^ haha anyway kiya replied and asked me to get it sent back to haraki-san for repair/replacement. he'll cover the shipping though. thumbs up for his prompt reply and excellent customer service!
-
Same thing happened to mine about two months ago. Had a local tailor sort it out. Looks fine now.
-
Everyone seems to solve the issue with a local tailor. Hmm… Now I'm wondering if I should even send it to haraki to get it fixed or what.
-
Lets make things simple. If you have a reputable local tailor/ denim doctor and you cant wait to wear it just send it to him.. But if you dont mind to wait while The Works fix the problem, send it to Haraki then. Its just a simple repair. And IMHO, this shirt should either have snap or a jacket style button hole.
-
Agreed!!! Snap-ons would have solved this! Because the shirt is so stiff, its better with snaps on like the 27!

It would not be a "work shirt" if it had snaps.

true. guess there's not much a choice.
-
volcano….did you soak before wearing?
i soak mine 2 times....no probs with the holes till now.Didn't do a thing. Opened the parcel, check the beauty.. Then I saw it.
now its sent to the boss. Can't wait to get my hands on her!
-
Yeah.
can't wait for haraki-san to send it back to me.
anyway fit pics alex! How long have you worn them?
-
Awesome! Will wait for your fit pics.
-
just wondering, did you shorten the length alex? cos they look fantastic! i know you shortened some of your shirts so im just asking.
-
awesome. they look great. makes me even more excited to get mine back from haraki-san.
