Looks like most people are taking a size down in this. The measurements one size down match the rest of my jackets, just nervous because I’ve never bought L Ironheart anything, always XL or in some slimmer western XXL

Do I just trust the chart?

@99Tjadams the sleeve length is what has me nervous about sizing down too much. I have to go a bit oversized by measurements for correct length.

Yah the sleeve length is what’s selling me on this. It will be the first IH product I won’t have to fold the cuff back on.

I got my normal size and I was afraid of the short sleeves but when I got it today was perfect I am looking to start to use it , here in Ireland at the moment we are in a storm so I might need to wait a little bit …

@emilink, you were correct - the large works just fine, especially with a flannel shirt under it. It’s a bit roomy with just a T-shirt underneath, but that’s OK. It’s not so baggy that I want to return it, and without trying on a medium first, I might end up regretting returning the large.

alright IH fam, what do y'all think of the fit? 165lbs, 5'10", 43"-44" chest. i got a small but am contemplating a medium. i don't intend to layer with this piece, as i'm in cali and have no real need to do so..plus i already own the oiled/lined IH-N1

@Art-Vandelay I'm around the same height/weight and I have a medium, but it's roomy so I can layer flannels etc under it.

I think the small looks great, especially if you're not gonna layer like you mentioned.

@Art-Vandelay Tbh, it looks great. If you don't want to layer it, the fit is perfect. I tried sizes L and M, and I went with an L since I want to layer it over some knitwear.

To define it to limit but I'm 176 cm (~5'9") and 84 kg (~185 lbs).

@Art-Vandelay difficult to say how tight the p2p from your pictures. For my personal preference I would miss a bit in length, and also in sleeve length. When you get some further shortening of the sleeves with wear....

Doesn't look bad at all, especially as a standalone piece...fit can be subjective...sleeves would "feel" short on me as I move around.
